My apologies for writing in English. The biographical information in this article is outdated. Josef Kohout has been misidentified as Wenzl Josef Thomas Kohaut, who was born in 1738 but died the same year as an infant. According to recent research, the composer Josef Kohout was baptised 11-07-1734 in Vienna and died 12-05-1777 in Paris. He is in fact the brother of Karel Kohout after all.

- @Svenkaj: thank you for taking care of this! Some details still need to be corrected however: Kohout died in 1777, not in 1793. And according to latest research, he is a brother of Karel Kohout, the article denies this. Last but not least, the article needs to be moved to Josef Kohout (1734) of course.
