Čeština: Vladimír Černý (2. února 1895, Praha–Nusle – 8. dubna 1943, Berlín-Charlotenburg) – příslušník československých legií v Itálii, vojenský letec (štábní kapitán letectv), civilní letec (šéfpilot letecké firmy Avia), držitel několika národních leteckých rekordů, za protektorátu člen Obrany národa a předseda ilegálního výboru Svazu letců republiky Československé. V únoru 1940 byl zatčen gestapem, vyslýchán, vězněn v německých káznicích a nakonec byl za odbojovou činnost odsouzen k trestu smrti a popraven gilotinou dne 8. dubna 1943 v Berlíně-Charlotenburgu.
English: Vladimír Černý (February 2, 1895, Prague – Nusle - April 8, 1943, Berlin-Charlotenburg) - member of the Czechoslovak legions in Italy, military pilot (staff captain of the Air Force), civilian pilot (chief pilot of aviatic firm Avia), holder of several national aviation records , during the Protectorate a member of the Defense of the Nation and chairman of the illegal committee of the Union of Pilots of the Czechoslovak Republic. In February 1940 he was arrested by the Gestapo, interrogated, imprisoned in German prisons and finally sentenced to death for resistance activities and executed by guillotine on April 8, 1943 in Berlin-Charlotenburg. |
