Deutsch: Dornier Do 23 'WL+AJYS', ca. 1938-39 bei unbekannter C-Schule; Do 23 mit 2x BMW VI, 12-Zylinder-V-Motoren, 2x 750 PS mit starrer 4-Blatt-Holzluftschraube. Der Bomber mit offenem Führer- und Beobachterstand befand sich bei der I./KG 155 (I. Gruppe/Kampfgeschwader 155) auf dem Fliegerhorst Giebelstadt in der Truppenverwendung vom 1. April 1936 bis etwa Mitte 1937, danach wurde die Do 23 durch die modernere Do 17 E ersetzt. Weitere Standorte des KG 155 in diesem Zeitraum waren:
  • Fliegerhorst Ansbach bzw. Ansbach-Neukirchen: Stab und II./KG 155; Die heutige Benennung ist Flugplatz Ansbach-Katterbach, bzw. Katterbach Army Airfield und Ansbach Army Heli Pad (Ansbach AHP) bei der US Army.
  • Fliegerhorst Schwäbisch Hall (Hessental): III./KG 155.
Das KG 155 wurde am 1. Februar 1938 in KG 158 umbenannt, vermutlich noch während der Anwesenheit in den o. g. Standorten. Nach dem sogen. Anschluss Österreichs am 12. u. 13 März 1938 verlegte das KG 158 auf die Flugplätze Wiener-Neustadt und Wels in Österreich. Am 1. Mai 1939 entstand aus dem KG 158 das Kampfgeschwader 76, damals ausgerüstet mit der Dornier Do 17 Z.
